- The Moors were Muslims of the medieval era who invaded the Iberian Peninsula in 711, as well as other territories (Maghreb, Sicily, and Malta).
Who and where were the Venetians?
- Venetians are those who come from Venice. Venice is a coastal city of Italy.
Who and where were the Florentines?
- The Florentines were a group of artists in the late Renaissance era who discussed the arts, particularly music and drama.
Who and where were the Turks?
- The Turks founded the Ottoman Empire, otherwise known as the Turkish empire, with control over Constantinople (present day Istanbul, Turkey). This was an extremely powerful empire.
Where was Cyprus?
- Cyprus is an island in the Mediterranean. Its location is south of Turkey, east of Greece, and west of Syria and Lebanon.
When and why did any of these groups interact?
- All of these groups interacted through the Renaissance. The Renaissance began in Italy, and later spread across Europe.
